BC Rich Warlock

B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar

The BC Rich warlock is low-cost 6 string electric. It has a decent tone with enough output to gets things going. The body of the guitar is made of Agathis with a beveled top. The thickness of the body is 45mm, or about 1-3/4 inches. The beveled top is meant to catch and reflect the light to give it a more 3 dimensional look. It has no binding around the body and is available in gloss black or gloss red.

The 25.5 inch scale length neck is made of maple with a rosewood fretboard. It also has 24 jumbo frets (about 1/10 of an inch) with white Pearloid position markers. The nut width is about 1.7 inches. The neck is bolted on to the body with 4 bolts. The headstock has 6 inline sealed die-cast tuners with no binding. The back of the neck (maple) is natural satin.

The bridge is a wrap around adjustable type. The electronics are fairly straight forward with a volume, and tone control and a 3-way pickup selector. The two pickups are BC Rich designed humbuckers. They are called BDSM pickups which mean Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. This means that the pickups are matched in pairs depending upon their tonal characteristics and output. The hardware is all chrome.
