EBow Guitar Sustain Device

EBow PlusEbow Electronic Bow for Guitar
EBow PlusEbow

The EBow is handheld device that when placed on the strings of an electric guitar will cause the string to vibrate, and thus make a tone. It has a flute or violin type of sound and when used with either a volume pedal or volume knob you can make it sing like a violin. It requires that it be placed across three strings where the middle string will vibrate and the two adjacent strings hold the device in position. I use usually on the 3rd and 4th strings. It only works on metal strings and doesn't work on nylon stings. Robert Fripp of King Crimson used this device on some of his tape loop recording. Adrian Belew and many other also use this device.
