Fender Bass Guitars

Fender Guitars
Fender Precision and Jazz basses have been the corner stone for most popular music since the '50s. There have been a number of developments to the latest versions. The American Deluxe series use 5-bolts to attach the neck to the body as well as they include much better electronics (both active and passive). The current electronics are noiseless and run on 18 volts. Fender bass guitars have been made in American as well as Mexico and in China. The American made P and Jazz basses are made in the Fender Corona factory.

The Fender Precision Bass is the standard Mexican made 4-string. The body is made of alder with an original contoured shape that has made this bass guitar a ledged. The all maple neck uses the standard fender machine heads and comes with a rosewood fingerboard. The 34" scale neck has a 20 Medium Jumbo frets and a 9.5" radius with the Modern style "C" shape.

The American made Fender Precision is probably the most popular bass to date. It's been used on countless recordings by a number of top bass players: Jack Bruce, Chris Squire, Pete Mosley, and Dusty Hill. It was actually invented before the Stratocaster back in 1951.
