Fender Standard Precision Bass |
The Fender Standard Precision Bass is a 4-string made in Mexico. The body is made of Poplar with an original contoured shape that has made this bass guitar a ledged. The Precision was actually the first with the double cut-a-way body style. It's from this bass that the Stratocaster got its shape. The 3-ply white pickguard is also standard. The all maple neck uses the standard fender machine heads and comes with a rosewood fingerboard. The 34" scale neck has a 20 Medium Jumbo frets and a 9.5" radius with the Modern style "C" shape. The standard style P-Bridge is the chrome and has been proven to be stable even at the most aggressive playing styles. The controls are tone and volume with the single Precision bass split single coil pickup. You may have noticed that the knurled control knobs and midnight wine color. The finish is polyester and is available Colors are (506) Black, (519) Sage Green Metallic, (529) Blue Agave, (532)* Brown Sunburst, (575) Midnight Wine, and (580) Arctic White. The American Made Precision's offer a better made bass and are more expensive. You can also get the lesser expensive Squier Precision Bass. Features
