Ludwig Amber Vistalite 5-Piece Reissue Drum Set
Ludwig Amber Vistalite John Bonham Drum Set
This is a reissue of the Drumset used by John Bonham in the "Song Remains the Same". This set has a BIG and LOUD sound that was one of the components to his drum sound.

There are three guitars that come to mind when I think of Led Zeppelin: The first being the Gibson SG Double Neck as used on "Stairway to Heaven", The Fender Telecaster and Fender Showman amp used on the first Zep Album, and the of the Gibson '58 Les Paul. The Jimmy Page Gibson Les Paul is a Custom Shop limited edition guitar. It is based upon his favorite 58 LP Standard which has an elliptical neck profile that is thinner at the 7th fret than the first while it becomes fatter at the 12th fret again. It also has some unusual added electronics that remain somewhat hidden. This is the second J.Page re-issue with the first being done in 1995.

Each of the guitars (25 or 150) where played by Jimmy and approved of before being released for sale. To verify this he has signed and hand-numbered these very much collectable guitars on the neck's headstock. Because Jimmy Page received the first guitar of this limited run as part of his arrangement with the Custom Shop, the 25 guitars released to the public will number 2-26. Gibson actually went to his home in England to study the Les Paul used in movie. They took some pictures. You can see the Black custom Burst Bucker. They are collector items. The come with strings that have used or played by Jimmy Page. In 10 years this guitar will double in price.

The electronics on this guitar aren't noticeable. As in the 1995 Jimmy Page signature guitar this one has dual uses via push/pull knobs. The humbuckers are custom made Burstbuckers which have a coil tap and is one of Gibson's highest output pickups. Each of the four control knobs, two volume and two tone, can be pulled up to enable other features. The bridge volume knob splits the bridge pickup, while the neck volume knob splits the neck pickup coils. The bridge tone knob places the pickups out of phase with one another. The rhythm (neck) pickup tone knob controls weather the pickups are wired in series or in parallel.

This guitar has been purposely aged. You may asking what? It's been aged to look like Jimmy's original which at the time was some 15 years or so old. The Body is mad of solid Mahogany with a carved figured maple top and a single-ply cream on top binding. It has the same "Page" burst color that has been painted and aged by Gibson's Tom Murphy.

The neck is glued onto the body and is made of a single piece of mahogany with a long neck tenon just like the original. It has the Vintage trapezoid inlays that have been accurately measured for shape and color. The rosewood fretboard and elliptical profile neck are the same as well.

The guitar includes a wall display box that has a silk screened Jimmy Page signature and a violin bow. There is also a Certificate of Authenticity that has been signed by page himself. Shipped with the strings that where on the guitar when jimmy played to authenticate it. Gibson Measured the neck, frets, and inlays to be exactly like Jimmy's. Here they are with a micro measuring his guitar in England. The Pickup that Jimmy Page used/uses in his Les Paul is a Custom Burst Humbucker and Gibson doesn't appear at the moment to be ready to manufacture them. You can however get the Gibson Burstbucker pickup. Jimmy played a Fender Telecaster on Led Zeppelin I. He then started using a '59 Les Paul on Zeppelin II as well as a '58 Les Paul on Led Zeppelin III. He continued to use them throughout the rest of the Zep albums and still uses them today.
