Randall RM4 Empty Preamp Chassis
The Randall RM4 is a guitar tube based preamp that uses modules and not an all in one tube preamp design. Looking at the picture you'll see (4) four slots in this empty chassis on the top, with the fully loaded version below it. Each of the modules has specifically designed to create the sound of a particular amp, right down to the tube and layout. Each module is based on the original circuit specs from the amp. You'll need to have a power amp and speaker cabinet in order to use this preamp. The Randall RT2/50 is one of the obvious recommendations and offers switchable tubes of EL34s and 6L6s.
