Squier Stratocaster

The Squier Stratocaster is made in China by Fender Guitars. The Affinity and Standard series guitars are a low cost option to the American Made and Mexican Made standard Fender Stratocasters. They are affordable guitars ideal for beginners and intermediate guitarists of all ages.

The Affinity Series are made in China by Fender and are the lowest cost Strats by Fender you'll find. They have similar styling to the American and Mexican Made Strat and are ideal for beginners and intermediate guitarists of all ages. It's the best in that the features to cost ratio is rather high. This isn't a 'cheap' guitar especially if you look at its overall construction. As with the American and Mexican made Fenders both the Standard and Affinity have bolt-through neck (bolt-on) and are very smooth feeling necks. The body of the guitar is also slimmer and lighter weight. There also aren't as many finish options available.

The Standard Series are closer to the Fender versions. The body is similar in size and shape as the Fender version. Also the fretboard has 22 frets and not 21 as found on the Affinity guitars. The standard versions also use Alnico magnets in their pickups. There are a number of different finishes and woods available in the Standard versions as well. These guitars are for beginners or intermediate players who want a better playing and sounding guitar but can't afford a Mexican Made Fender.

The Deluxe Series guitars are similar to the standard versions with the added transparent finish and basswood body. They have the same functionality and sound as the standards as well. Great tone at an affordable price.

The Affinity Strat is lowest cost Strat from Fender. It is ideal for beginners and intermediate guitarists of all ages.

The Affinity FAT Strat comes with both single coil and humbucker pickups. With this guitar you get two different pickup types and sounds at a very low cost.

The Affinity Strat Special has the classic features found in Fender Strats but at an affordable price.

Squier Standard Stratocaster
The Standard Stratocaster is made in Taiwan. Because of the increases in mass-production this guitar can now sold at such a low price. It has same styling as the original Strat. It's really a good quality low-cost guitar and is great for beginner's to intermediate players.

The Squier Black and Chrome Strat is a 2004 limited edition 6-string electric guitar. It features a gloss black finish and chrome hardware. Most notibly it's chrome pickguard and black headstock give the guitar a classy look as well as the Humbucker pickup in the bridge postion.

The Squier Standard Fat Strat is a low cost alternative to the Fender Strat. This version includes a Humbucker in the Bridge positons.

Squier Vintage Modified Stratocaster
The Squier Vintage combines both the appeal of vintage style and hot-rodded modifications. Some features included are Duncan Designed SC-101 single coil pickups, Indian Red Cedar body, a gloss-finished maple neck, rosewood fretboard.
