The 4000 Multi-Pattern is a large diaphragm condenser that supports 3 microphone polar patterns: Cardioid, Figure 8, and Omni-directional. MXL V88 Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic
The V88 is large diaphragm studio condenser mic designed to capture voice and vocals and instruments. It features a balanced transformerless output, 1 ¼ inch gold sputtered diaphragm, High SPL handling, comes with shockmount and filght case. The mic is a little shorter than other mics but the capsule and windscreen are definitely full sized. It comes with a -10dB pad switch.
