
AKG C-1000
The C-1000S is a small diaphragm that is made for recording acoustic instruments such as Piano, Acoustic Guitars, Drum Overheads, and just about any other instrument. The reason for this is that the C1000's high-sensitivity and flat frequency response but more importantly is the sound quality. I've used this mic to record a marshall cabinet and it sounded great. It has a selectable polar pattern that allows you to choose between cardioid and hypercardioid.

Audio-Technica AT4060
The AT4060 is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone for professional studios. It features a vintage tube sound with a wide dynamic range that exceeds many other mics. The transducer is designed for up front presence for recording, broadcast and live performance. It works well for voice, vocals, drums, guitars, and other instruments.

The 990 is a very low cost alternative large diaphragm microphone designed for home studios. It's made to be used to record vocals, voice, and acoustic instruments.

The KM 184 is especially suitable for a very wide range of tasks in the radio and television. This mic really sounds good in situations for recording live and in the studio.

The NT2-A is a multi-polar pattern condenser mic with dual gold plated diaphragms. It is capable of switching between the omni, cardioid, and figure-8 polar pattens via a switch located on the mic.
