 Universal Audio 1176LN The 1176LN features all solid state circuitry that was designed by Bill Putnam who modeled the 1176LN based on the 30 year old "Blackface" D and E versions. The limiter uses a transformer input stage and FET (solidstate) gain reduction using a CLASS A amplifier output design that has very low noise. The output transformer was designed by Bill Putnam. |
